The part that drives me crazy is that so often someone is trying to do the good thing. They are expending crazy energy to educate and provide a level ground for a conversation.

Only to have to step away, frustrated.

I used to think we just had to find a way to get people comfortable and feeling safe to not be judged.

Now I recognize even a hint of Dunning and I just step away.

But know that your words have been and continue to be helpful to those of us who have opened our eyes and are working hard to educate ourselves.
