No. it’s not luck.

It’s a complicated topic and not one that fits well with the oversimplification I attempted to constrain it with.

It’s why I say to be sure to focus on the journey. Pick the things where the end result doesn’t matter so much.

Because it will take luck to hit it big or be able to retire comfortably. More and more so as the years go by.

I certainly am not arguing for people to give up. Fighting the battles that matter are what I believe defines a life well lived.

Just be aware that the journey may be all there is.
