Hi Aura. I pray you are right that once I cross the skill chasm, I will be able to feel pride for my work.

But I can honestly say that pride is definitely fleeting, if even present, on the paths I am currently pursuing.

To your point, I chose many new paths all at once. And I waited until I was in my 40s. I am inundated with the amazing work of people much younger than me and see only the lack in much of what I do.

I love that sculpture! Case in point. lol.

The challenge is I am used to feeling it for tasks that were bullshit at best. I yearn for it.

But maybe this isn’t helpful when I am so nascent on so many paths?
